About Business Opportunities and Access to Capital Division
The Business Opportunities and Access to Capital Division promotes and advocates for small and local businesses headquartered in the District of Columbia. The Division is responsible for both ensuring Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) participation in the procurement process within the public and private sectors and communicating industry-specific business opportunities to CBEs.
Division staff members monitor business trends and identify potential markets that may present small and local businesses with new opportunities and an increased accessibility to capital.
In an effort to foster economic growth, development, and retention of locally-based businesses, the Division also tracks CBE capacity across varying industries and encourages businesses to joint venture. |
