DSLBD Launches New Online LSDBE Business Center

The Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) announces the March 6, 2006, launch of its new online Local, Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (LSDBE) Business Center. The Business Center provides companies who wish to do business with the District government or with other LSDBEs quick access to several features. Companies can:

• Search the LSDBE Company Directory
• Search or add citywide LSDBE opportunities
• Check to see if an address falls within an Enterprise Zone
• Apply online for LSDBE certification, recertification or certification upgrade
• Verify payments from prime contractors
• View and record payments to LSDBE subcontractors

To begin using these and other features, a user must:

1. Select the link for the LSDBE Business Center.
2. Select the Log In button to access the company’s information. (Note: The LSDBE Business Center uses a secure Internet server that protects the confidentiality of user information.)
3. Enter the account information below:
   Username: «Username»
   Temporary Password: «Password».
